NC Public Charter Schools Association
Qudeso has been involved in the education arena since it’s inception and recently partnered with the newly formed NC Public Charter Schools Association. The NC Public Charter Schools Association was founded by Eddie Goodall, a former NC Senator, with a mission to grow and sustain high quality public charter schools that nourish North Carolina’s children and enrich their families. NC Public Charter Schools Association is a membership coalition of NC charter schools established to serve, represent, and advocate for the interests of the schools and their children, parents, educators, and staff.
In June 2011, the NC Senate voted to lift the 100 independent public charter school cap as supporters argued that parents unhappy with traditional public schools are wanting for more choices. Not just focused on future charter schools, the Association also focuses on the interests of the state’s existing charter schools and helping ensure their success.
After consulting with the needs of the NC Public Charter Schools Association, Qudeso developed a site that would focus on the following 3 elements:
Event Management – the Public Charter Schools Association will be hosts many events through out year educating those groups interested in starting charter schools what they must be aware of as well as providing resources to help them along the way.
Breaking News – the new site will act as a central hub for all things “charter schools” related, from legislation news, to information though various news outlets, etc. We promoted this section by featuring the news feeds on all inner pages and implementing social media links so visitors can opt to stay in touch to the social channels they already use.
Resources – the association partners with various business organizations central to assisting charter schools succeed. To promote such available resources we implemented a banner management system onto the site whereas the association itself can predominately announce such resources.
We are excited about our new relationship with the NC Public Charter Schools Association and are active in how we assist those interested in starting a charter schools be more effective in marketing themselves to their community.
