United Auto Parts
Through our work with associations, in particular The Automotive Aftermarket Association of the Carolinas and Tennessee (AAACT) we were approached by United Auto Parts (UAP) of Durham, NC.
United Auto Parts did not currently have a website although they knew they had a great story to tell! What they didn’t know was how much business they could be losing by not having an online presence.
The first step was to understand their business and what United Auto Parts wanted to accomplish. After several interviews with the management we understood the necessary direction for which to proceed with their site. During phase I of the project, Qudeso developed a custom designed site with a WordPress backend CMS (content management system) which gave UAP the ability to edit specific features of the site easily. Along with the site, we also provided United Auto Parts with a custom designed email skin as well as a Facebook landing page which would allow them the ability to more easily brand themselves when implementing social media and email campaigns into the marketing strategy.
The next phase for almost all website is Search Engine Optimization, or SEO. Nine times out of ten, we always recommend SEO because it allows small and medium sized businesses the ability to be noticed online which evens the competition playing field. Based on UAP’s tremendous satisfaction with their new website we moved to the SEO portion of the plan. Keep in mind, NO ONE can or should promise goggle page rankings!! And we never did. However, after just three months United Auto Parts site was organically rank on the first page of Google for 4 out of the 10 keywords we optimized. After 6 months, we had all 10 keywords ranked on the first page. Again, we do no promise results, but we know what works, and how to do it in a “white hat” and ethical way.
